Nick Rich, Chris Dawson and Peter Lucas founded Swiftline Marine Limited in 2007. With over a decade of experience building catamarans and a background of commercial and leisure fishing, we believe we are bringing a unique new product to not only the commercial marine market but also the next generation of leisure vessels.

Our aim is to produce high quality vessels at affordable prices.

Swiftcat vessel

The Swiftcat is a fusion of innovative design characteristics. The underwater profile was designed by Professor Bob Van Niekerk of Boatloft, SA, who has a history and vast knowledge of hydrodynamic design having produced several very successful racing boats. The super structure was designed and built in-house by the highly skilled and dedicated Swiftline Marine team.

Vision and mission statement

Our aim is to build a vessel that strays away from the contemporary catamaran style, although, we believe that catamarans are a major step in the evolvement of marine transport and commerce. Most of the vessels on the market appear to be high-powered, high-displacement and high-beam work platforms, practictality has superseded aesthetical appeal. Our unique Swiftcat vessel ticks all the boxes!

We have designed the Swiftcat to be as efficient and stream-lined as possible in it’s underwater profile, and as elegant yet aggressive as possible whilst maintaining graceful lines, this allows the Swiftcat to sit alongside any vessel in complete harmony.
